About the event

Portland Phoenix Choir represents a legacy of a musical community that is on a path to renewed energy and commitment to provide choral music to the greater southwest Portland area. Based in Lake Oswego, the Phoenix Choir is a 501(c)3 organization and non-auditioned group that invites singers of all skill levels to experience the joy of singing works from the early masterpieces to modern arrangements like you’ll hear tonight. In 2019, after the departure of its founder, Dr. Justin Smith, the choir welcomed Alejandra Blech as its new Artistic Director and Conductor. Under Alejandra’s direction, the choir continues to pursue excellence in choral music as we build on our common vision of bringing joy and peace to our world through music.
